My career path is pretty unconventional, I'll be honest. I didn't grow up knowing what I wanted to be. All I knew was that media was my favourite subject in secondary school.
I ended up in administration for years, but the lack of creativity was killing me softly, and I have always hated spreadsheets.
I've been an entrepreneur since I was 18, when I started my first business and taught myself branding and web design along the way. I didn't even know the correct terms for half of what I was doing, I just knew I was building something, working it out intuitively as I went. What started as a small idea grew into a strong brand with a loyal following, and generated five figures in sales in a single day.
Over the years I started a few more businesses, and every time I'd build the brand and website myself. Somewhere along the way, I realised that what felt natural to me was something other people found overwhelming. While many business owners were hiring separate people for branding, websites, content, strategy, and tech support, I'd already taught myself how all of those pieces worked together.
I've become a bit of a one-woman band in that sense, I naturally see the bigger picture and enjoy bringing all the moving parts together to create something that feels aligned and intentional.
Since then I've gone on to study copywriting, digital marketing, and AI, so what started as instinct has been strengthened into strategy and expertise too.
Now I get to help other women in business bring their visions to life through branding, websites, and content. There's nothing quite like watching an idea actually come to life in front of you.
